Neoprobe
Sophisticated technology made simple with Neoprobe®
The neo2000® Gamma Detection System (GDS) is the centerpiece of gamma-guided surgical procedures such as lymphatic mapping and parathyroidectomy, and it may help spare patients from complications associated with complete lymph node dissection.
Neoprobe® GDS is designed by surgeons for surgeons, and preprogrammed at the factory with optimal settings. It's lightweight, durable, and has a built-in handle for easy transport. Just plug it in and go to work.
Experience the benefits of the Neoprobe GDS System
- Corded and cordless probe options
- Angled and straight probe options to accommodate body contours
- Superior sensitivity: 50% more sensitive than corded probe (NPR14)
- Software upgradeable microprocessor-based platform - provides peak performance in changing surgical procedures
- Automatic windowing for most common radioisotopes
- Easy system set-up
- Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology
- No need for calibration
- Fast target and background count

High performance, high sensitivity Bluetooth® probes
11mm laparoscopic Bluetooth wireless probe
The gamma detection probe for laparoscopic procedures offers a different point of view - an orthogonal (90 degree) field of view for better accessibility to targeted lesions. Its ergonomic design is optimized for a wide range of uses. Its Bluetooth technology makes it easy to switch from one probe to another.
Four (4) common radionuclides: 125I, 99mTc, 111In, 131I.
High-energy F-18 probe
This high-energy, hand-held probe (HEP) is capable of detecting high-energy photons typically emitted from PET positive lesions.
- Detects radioactive isotope Fluorine-18, called 18F-FDG, and other high-energy radionuclides
- Option to use binary pitch in FDG isotope procedures
- Sophisticated shielding enhances 511 KeV directionality
- Specific F-18 window built into control console
